Our Story

Built on service, growth, and trust.

Tacoma Screw Products is a locally owned and operated industrial distributor, founded in Tacoma, Washington in 1946. Eighty years later, we remain in family ownership, in the same city we started in, with the same focus on getting industrial customers the parts they need.

We distribute fasteners, tools, and maintenance, shop, and industrial supplies, more than 45,000 products in stock, served from a 90,000+ square foot distribution center and 21 branch locations across four states.

Our customers come from every corner of the working economy: manufacturing, construction, transportation, aerospace, maritime, agriculture, food processing, and every level of government.

What sets us apart isn't the inventory, it's the people. Counter staff who know your facility. Sales reps who come to your shop. Purchasing agents who track down the obsolete part. Machine shop fabricators who make the one-off bolt. Distribution staff who fill the order accurately and ship it on time. That's the whole company, in one sentence: people who do the work right.

How we operate

Our Five Fundamentals of Service.

Five principles guide how we show up with each other, with our partners, and with every customer who calls. They've stayed the same for decades, and they shape every decision we make.

1.
Above all, honesty and integrity.
2.
Always do what you say.
3.
The only two things people ever buy are good feelings and solutions to problems.
4.
People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.
5.
Each one of us is the Company.
