• All pipe is roller-cut, and a visual inspection of seams, excessive galvanizing, mid-welds, poor galvanizing, bends, roundness, and under- and overweight of the pipe is made at the time it is cut
• 33.7 kg/sq-mm at 48000 psi, 20 kg/sq-mm at 28500 psi tensile strength
• Pipe lengths are cut to a tolerance of ± 1/16 in of the actual length
• All pipe is chased thread cut to American standard tapered pipe thread standards
• 3/4 in taper per foot
• Pipe is visually inspected for roundness of threads and other visual faults as it is removed from the threading machine
